Description:
A rotatable cam in the shank has a spur engaging a retractable pin on a compression spring. The cam has fine teeth that engage a rack on the sliding jaw, while the pin fits a series of holes in the same face of the sliding jaw. The holes are spaced at intervals matching standard nut sizes, while the rack teeth allow for finer intermediate adjustments.
