| This is a variation on the taper micrometer of patent 2,746,158. Both patents were assigned to T. M. Electronics, Inc., in 1982, which had apparently acquired Taper Micrometer Corp. of Worcester. We do not have any reports of a surviving example of this design variant that does away with the built-in sine-bar used by the original. |
