Description:

Improvements to US patent 1,348,923. See also Canada patent CA-220,134. "Objects of the improved construction are to provide means to facilitate the adjustment of the bit or blade to insure an accurate cutting action; to provide means for locking the tilting handle against movement, so that the plane can be used like the ordinary tool in which the bit or blade is not movable; and to provide certain details and features of construction and combinations tending to increase the general efficiency and the desirability of a carpenter's plane of this particular character."
