Description:
Jar wrench with "fingers" to keep the gripping surfaces aligned with the middle of "Mason Jar" type screw lids and semi-circular serrated gripping surfaces; the pivot for the jaws can be shifted between sets of holes to provided for size adjustment.

Some aspects of this design appear in Gurnett's Aug. 31, 1915 patent (CA-164,637) and corresponding U.S. patent 1,196,232.
