Description:
A version of this wrench with a hammer poll and claw as the "crank handle", and with a wing-nut to turn the adjusting screw was produced. One such piece was reported as marked "Lowentraut Pat. Jan 26, 1875." Other examples include markings referencing Robinson's Dec. 25, 1877 patent (no. 198,685) and "Robinson's Crank Wrenches and Bit-Brace Co."
