| Quick / automatic adjustment pipe wrench; a portion of the adjustment mechanism is related to Gordon's earlier nut wrench patent (no. 1,380,794). The pipe wrench was included in early 1923 announcements of GORDON AUTOMATIC wrenches produced by AMERICAN AUTOMATIC WRENCH CORP., but does not appear in later write-ups. A known example is marked GORDON AUTOMATIC PATENT APPLIED FOR.
