Description:
The process is an elaboration of manufacturing processes related to producing a "Stillson" wrench frame of the general sort described in pat. no. 1,711,083. The drawings show several variations with a common feature of a boss or bosses that function as "nut guards" for the adjusting ring.

The parallel patent 1,862,002 was also used on these pipe wrenches.
