Description:
British patent which includes the two-piece wrench known as "BAUER'S PATENT." Examples are known with the trade mark of interlocking rings and bold letters "B" as shown in the 3rd image. The DATAMP entry for corresponding U.S. patent 313,571 includes information about U.S. distribution of the tool.

Note: British patents (pre 1916) were numbered by the year and started at patent #1 at the start of each year in January.
