This invention was the genesis of Dremel Mfg. Co., established in 1932. According to an article on the 30th anniversary of Dremel Mfg. Co., this invention was the genesis of that firm, and sold well for a few years until falling prices for razor blades led Dremel to cease production and instead develop what would become the Dremel Moto-tool.
