Description:
A sliding adjustable jaw is connected to a lever handle. The lever handle is also connected to a pivoted toothed dog which engages rack teeth on the main shank when the lever handle is closed. Opening the lever handle releases the toothed dog's grip and allows the movable jaw to slide freely.

The specifications note a British patent application earlier in 1935.

A wrench produced by J.A. Henckels Co. of Solingen, Germany matches this design. No documentation has thus far been found to determine how the wrench and patent are related.
