Description:
This clever motor uses a dual-piston two-stroke motor where one piston provides power and the other piston, which is reciprocated by the action of the first piston, is connected to a foot that is used to tamp soil. This patent was used on the Model BR-5 Barco Pegson rammer, which weighs 210 lb (95 kg) and can jump up to 14 inches in the air. See also patent 2,090,842.
