Description:
The two, four, or more jaws are pressed against the tool-bit by screwing each of a pair of threaded rings towards the shoulders of the jaws, thereby accommodating tapered as well as straight shanks. The jaws can have projecting inclined cutting edges to enable the chuck also to act, concurrently with the drilling, as a countersink.
