Description:
Original application filed 15 Aug., 1942, now patent #2,349,240. Divided and this application filer 17 Apr., 1944.

Claim:

A multiple drill head comprising a body having a gear chamber therein adapted to receive a lubricant under pressure, a drive spindle journaled in the body, a plurality of shafts having lubricating passages therein, spur gears keyed respectively to the spindle and to the shafts in the chamber and operatively connecting the spindle with the shafts, a radial grease passage in the gears of the shafts communicating with the chamber, a check va1ve in each of said passages, a plurality of driven spindles having lubricating passages therein, and spur gears connecting the shafts with the respective driven spindles, said last-named gears having communicating radial passages and

also providing communication between the passages of the shafts and the passages of the driven spindles.
