Description:
Kells & Son manufactured brick and tile machinery for the 1860s until at least 1885; by 1908 they were known as the Kells Foundry & Machine Co. By the early 1900s the machines were also being made by the Adrian Brick & Tile Machine Co., which by 1908 was succeeded by the Ideal Wire Fence Co.
