Description:
This is one of three patents granted to Samuel Langhorne Clemens, better known as Mark Twain. He didn't make any money from this history trivia game. According to an October 2017 article by Dan Piepenbring in The New Yorker, when this game "finally reached shelves, in 1891, one customer described it as 'a cross between an income tax form and a table of logarithms.'"
