Description:
Axle nut wrench at the center of a spring steel strip with end "S" hooks to attach to wheel spokes.

The fixed socket version was marketed as the DAISY; the wedge-adjustable socket version as the ADJUSTABLE. In 1891 the company was located at Three Rivers, Mich. Later the company had a Chicago address. Corresponding British patent GB-188914,080 registered Sept. 6, 1889 bears the name "W.W. Leggett & Co."

The patent combines features shown in three U.S. patents - nos. 390,731, 420,981, and 426,224.
