| The basic tool is a gas pipe tongs or pliers. Square holes in the handles provide anchor points for interchangeable threading dies, taps, and pipe cutter. The handle ends are shaped as screwdriver and reamer.
The tool also had a British patent -- no. 2,123 issued Jan. 25, 1884. |
