Description:
The essential feature of the patent is the longitudinal notch for wire in one side of the tool combined with the passage for the other wire and the bulk of the splice. The drawings show the tool with plier jaws; pincer or nipper jaws could also be used. The tool would produce half of a "lineman's splice" as shown in the drawing.
