Description:
The specifications claim an operational improvement over wrenches such as those in patents nos. 36,389, 168,360, and 274,545. In this patent, a compression spring between the adjusting collar and movable jaw allows for "ratchet" action when the long spring-form tail on the movable jaw is disengaged from the end of the adjusting collar.
