"Vintage Machinery" entry for Frontier Iron Works (Buffalo)
Description:
"It is my intention to use this filing machine in connection with my saw setting machine, for which letters patent were granted to me on November 29, 1887, No. 374,032..."

This patent was assigned to the Frontier Iron Works. Our best guess is that this was to the firm by that name in Buffalo, NY. We have not found any evidence that they manufactured this filing machine, although we do know they made a filing-machine accessory to their power hacksaw.
