Description:
A few months before this patent was issued, the American Gun Lock Co. was established and quickly changed its name to the Warwick Tool Co. That firm made a range of metalworking hand tools plus lathe chucks and drill chucks. In 1872 they were taken over by the Hubbard Hardware Co., which became Hubbard & Curtiss Mfg. Co., which is believed to have continued making this chuck.
