Description:
Reversible ratchet; the reversing mechanism is a sliding pawl. A spring catch on one side of the ratchet head will secure auxiliary sockets.

Ken Cope's "American Wrench Makers 1830-1930" lists Tyler as a manufacturer based on mention of the patent in SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN.
