Claim:

In an explosive-engine, the combination with the main frame, of a plate or casting provided with means for supporting the valve-actuating mechanism and means for detachably securing said plate or casting to the frame whereby said plate or casting and the mechanism carried thereby may be removed for repairs or adjustment, substantially as described.
