The January 1905 issue of The American Blacksmith, page XLVII, has a 1/4 page ad from The Cureton Foundry Co., manufacturers and sole agents of Silcott's Patent Tuyere, patented August 23, 1904. "Some of the Reasons why Silcott's Patent Tuyere is the BEST: It is—Air cooled, self cleaning, simple, reliable and a dandy. It will—Save coal, hold fire for six hours and last a lifetime. It gives—A good clean fire and satisfaction. It works—Automatically and satisfactorily. It keeps—The fire from spreading; gas out of the bellows and pipe."
