Description:
Clamp-on auxiliary pipe grip for nut wrenches. The design adapts to different widths of "monkey wrench" shank by having one jaw segment with a pin and clamped with a thumb nut. Kenneth Cope's "AMERICAN WRENCH MAKERS 1830-1930" cites a 1905 description which implies Cherry was making this.
