Description:
"Our invention relates to band sawing-machines, especially to the mounting for the upper band-saw wheel, and has for its object the providing of new and improved means for supporting the upper band-saw wheel; and our invention consists in providing a so-called 'gooseneck' band-saw frame with an upwardly-projecting standard, between which and the upper lateral projection of the gooseneck frame guide-rods for adjustably supporting the saddle carrying the upper band-saw wheel are arranged; further, in providing the upper laterally-projecting bracket of the band-saw frame with an upwardly and laterally projecting supplemental bracket for receiving an upper saw-wheel-supporting saddle straddling the upper lateral projection of the gooseneck-frame; further, in novel construction of frame and upper saw-wheel mounting..."
