Description:
This insertible tooth design was intended for metal-cutting saws. An ad in the 1912 "Disston Lumberman Handbook" features the "Disston Premier inserted tooth metal saw. Patented March 5th, 1907. Alternating round and oval-top teeth. Inverted wedge. Diameters from 18 inches to 60 inches. The fastest cutter and most durable saw of the kind ever made."
