Description:
This invention was an electromechanical impact device. The initial application was a rock hammer-drill for use in mining, but subsequent improvements adapted it for use as a stamp mill (patent 938,708), riveting gun (patents 973,216, 938,709, and 1,298,966), and power hammer (patent 1,024,027). Further improvements for use as a hammer drill are to be found in patents 1,024,025 and 1,024,026.
