Vintage Machinery entry for Ames & Frost
Description:
The innovation is related to lubricating the wheel hub. The patent is of tentative interest because a William F. Moody of Chicago received 1873-74 patents for dovetailing machines that were manufactured by Ames & Frost. As yet, we have found no evidence to confirm or refute the possibility that this patent's inventor is the same man.
