Description: |
| The wrench combines an adjustable "monkey wrench" with an alligator wrench. The drawings and specifications note optional arrangements. The version with the fixed alligator wrench end was produced.
An early 8 1/2 inch long version is marked "PAT APP. FOR." That version and 10 inch variants (marked Marshalltown, IA) have the adjustable jaw with a "monkey wrench" adjustment as shown in the patent drawing. Later production (Independence, MO) have the adjustable jaw with an "auto monkey wrench" type adjustment. |
