Description:
This wrench is of the class known as "pipe grips." In this patent, the size adjustment is accomplished by a hinge pin engaging in one of a series of notches in the shank. The engagement is held by an internal spring. Two alternate arrangements are shown in the drawings.

Corresponding British patent GB-190321235 was registered Oct. 3, 1903.
