Description: |
| The design shows thin jaws. One has teeth. The frame is a folded metal stamping welded or brazed to the lower jaw. The handle is a knurled cylinder. The design matches screw-adjust wrenches produced by the Boos Tool Company of Kansas City, MO.
Guy W. Hawkins' Oct. 21, 1941 design patent (no. D130,024) is very slightly different. The same patent attorney (Alfred R. Fuchs) represented both patentees.
The handle and adjustment components of utility patent no. 2,304,072 are also relevant for these BOOS wrenches. |
