"Vintage Machinery" entry for Robert Walker
Description:
The inventor was a blacksmith. An example has been seen that is a very close match for the patent drawings. The specification says that the machine is for drilling and boring in iron or wood. The hand-powered drill is intended to be light and portable, and when used with wood an adjustable table can be attached.
