Vintage Machinery entry for Ulscht & Linn
Description:
An 1884 book, "Commerce, Manufactures & Resources of Rochester, N.Y.", mentions that Ulscht & Linn manufactured "the firm's own Patent Pressure Regulator for Brewers, an invaluable invention to the manufacture of malt liquors."

Co-inventor David Lang was a cooper special in brewers' and wine casks.
