Vintage Machinery entry for Dailey Rotary Engine Co.
Description:
An article in the December 1905 Canadian Machinery says that Charles Hetherington (co-assignee on this patent) had developed a new rotary steam engine and that Dailey Rotary Engine Co. would be licensing its design to engine manufacturers. This article and a minor follow-up article the following month are the last mentions we can find of the Dailey Rotary Engine Co.—which had been incorporated with $100,000 funding—and it seems that the engine was never sold.
