Abstract:

Relates to combined injectors and clack-box boiler mountings. The steam supply is controlled by a valve b<2> which when closed acts as a stop valve, when partially open admits steam to the lifting-nozzle c, and when fully opened to both lifting and forcing nozzles c<1>, c. The clack valve g, stop valve h, and flange a<g> may be similar to the same parts described in Specifications No. 1728, A.D. 1889, and No. 19,951, A.D. 1893.
