Vintage Machinery entry for Empire Works (Concord, NH)
Description:
The inventor was the proprietor of the Empire Works of Concord. This invention is an add-on to a conventional kitchen stove that enables the creation of a smaller fire without the need to heat up the entire stove, which was particularly useful in summer when cooking needs were reduced and it was undesirable to heat up the kitchen with a large fire.
