Claim:

In machinery of this characterit is desirable to adjust the point of the drill accurately to the point on the work at which the point of the drill is to enter the work.

This is accomplished by lateral and axial adjustments of the drill-spindle. The ini drill-spindle comprising a manual operating part each side of the drill-spindle, one of said manual operating parts arranged for quick traverse adjustments of the drill-spindle, and the other of said manual operating parts arranged for fine lateral adjustments of the drill-spindle.
