| This drill press elevation mechanism was sold by Sears as their "Pressmate" drill press table elevator, model number 9.27587, between about 1981 and 1985. The manufacturer is currently unknown. The owner's manual says "U.S. and other countries patents pending" but no US patent has been found. German patent DE-3,029,797, Argentinian patent AR-222,917, and a Japanese patent were granted for the same invention. Antti P. Raiha was granted a few other patents as well, including US patents, and none of them were assigned to a manufacturer. |
