Vintage Machinery entry for George Burnham Co.
Description:
The December 1898 issue of The Blacksmith and Wheelwright, page 239, has an illustrated advertisement from the Geo. Burnham Co. for their "Tire Drilling Machine for Carriage Builders. No. 8 Power Drill, fitted with Stone's Patent Turret for quick and accurate drilling of tires." The illustrated turret attachment closely matches this patent's drawing.
