Description:
In this patent, the size adjusting rack is a slide in the handle. It is connected by a compound linkage to the jaws. The specifications note both pipe and nut wrench versions. As with other Bessolo patents, the grip tightens with handle movement, as the jaw portion is hinged in relation to the handle.

This patent number appears on a BESSOLO pipe wrench marked BESSOLO WRENCHES AND PLIERS SAN FRANCISCO CALIF. The tool has no physical resemblance to any feature in this patent. It matches patent no. 1,004,792, issued Oct. 3, 1911.
