| The movable jaw can rock a bit on its pivot. The opening is adjusted by a left- and right-hand screw, which also can rock. This adjusting screw is the focus of this patent. The specifications call this patent an improvement on McKibbon's July 18, 1922 patent (no. 1,423,499). This is the first of three patents cited on the "KIBBON KATCH-KWIK" pipe wrench -- the others are 1,730,671 and 1,872,780. |
