Description: |
| An improvement to Gordon's pat. no. 1,407,528 for a combination screw - and quick-adjust open end wrench. In this improvement, the adjusting worm sets in a sliding carrier with a compression spring to hold the adjusting worm in engagement with the rack teeth on the movable jaw. A compression spring in the frame pushes the movable jaw to "full open" position when the adjusting worm is disengaged from the rack on the movable jaw.
