Description:
A swinging loop (which may be opened & then closed with a pin) combined with a curved portion of a "lever" form a self-adjusting "ring spanner" for hexagonal nuts. Meredith gives "DYNAMO WORKS" at Birmingham as his address in one portion of his patent application.

Corresponding Canadian CA-62,666 and U.S. 651,574 patents were issued in 1899. Corresponding German patent DE-106548 was granted with effective date Nov. 10, 1898.
