Sold as UTILEX; produced in Britain. The tools show British patent no. GB-579,210.

Includes adjustable end wrench, hammer, file, rule, nail claw, and screwdriver functions. The glass cutter shown in the drawings was not included in the tool as produced.

The specifications cite U.S. patent nos. 389,549, 803,007, 812,947, and 864,710 as prior art.

A February, 1950 POPULAR SCIENCE new product announcement says the Laster Export-Import Co. of New York City was the U.S. distributor. Ron Geesin's "THE ADJUSTABLE SPANNER" identifies Forster's Marina Works at Manchester, England as the manufacturer.
