Description: |
| The movable jaw has a two-part adjustment. An adjusting screw similar to a Coes-style monkey wrench provides most of the adjustment. The lever handle provides the final grip, and allows for "grab and release" action to turn pipe. The hardened pipe gripping faces are keyed into the jaws. A flat spring spreads the lever handle.
Some examples marked "E. WRIGHT PAT OCT. 3 93" Other examples have only the patent date or no visible markings. |
