| The screw-adjust jaw has a cam lever to advance and provide a clamping action. This lever handle and the side handle also provide props to hold the axle nut off the ground while oiling the axle. This axle-nut wrench was marketed through the first quarter of the 20th Century.
The wrench received Canadian patent no. 62,998 on April 27, 1899. |
