Description:
The patent is for a hook jaw "self-adjusting" pipe wrench with the jaw member articulated to the handle. This patent together with one of Jackson's later patents was used for the Jackson pipe wrench. The later Jackson patents are No. 668,645 (Feb. 21, 1901) and 676,318 (June 11, 1901).
