Description:
The chain attaches to the body of the wrench rather than the jaw. The renewable jaws bear against a shoulder on the shank of the wrench.

The wrench was announced to the trade in the April 5, 1906 "IRON AGE" as the VICTOR REVERSIBLE CHAIN WRENCH, well in advance of the patent process.
