Description:
Flat stamped steel open end wrenches held in a frame with a cam-lever clamp. The RONSON set used a central square-shanked bolt with a flat washer and wing nut as described in patent no. 942,993.

A wrench set holder very much like this appears in 1910 advertisements for the TWIN-GRIP wrench.

Other TWIN-GRIP ads show a different set holder -- patent no. 1,001,280.

A 1911 CYCLE & AUTOMOBILE TRADE JOURNAL item alluded to this patent and stated Ronson Specialty Company threatened lawsuits against other makers of "cam & lever" wrench set fasteners.

Corresponding Canadian patent CA-124,279 granted March 8, 1910 is broader and more general in its claims. It includes two additional forms of "external wrap" wrench set holders -- another variant form of toggle clamping lever and an elaboration of the "sleeve" holder described in CA-122,206.
